This is the first WWF Game Boy game, the graphics are good for the Game Boy, but there isn’t really too much to it. Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, the Ultimate Warrior, Ted Dibiase and Mr. Perfect are all here, but with the same moves. Five wrestlers, only 1 vs 1 matches make for a very short game. There is out of the ring action if you push select at the right time, but mostly its kicks, punches, stomps, running elbow drops, slams and suplexes. The first wrestling game to grace the Playstation, and it offers arcade-fighting action in and out of the ring. Arcade meaning that you press forward, forward punch to perform a move. There are only eight true to life superstars, Bret Hart, the Undertaker, HBK, Razor Ramon, Doink the Clown, Bam Bam Bigelow, Yokozuna, Lex Luger and one hidden superstar, so you may get bored with frequent matches. Capcom in the late 80s had WWF wrestling games in the arcade, now they have taken it home to the Super Nintendo. There is one catch though, this is not the WWF, these wrestlers are all completely original! There are 10 wrestlers, and each is huge and nicely detailed with original moves for each of them, some are more unbelievable than normal wrestling games (Such as Mike Haggar’s flying pile driver.).
